“At the end of the day, you can either focus on what's tearing you apart or what's keeping you together.”

Couples Therapy

When every conversation turns into the same argument, it can be hard to remember that you’re on the same side.

Maybe you’re fighting more often, communicating less, or avoiding difficult conversations because they never seem to end well. One of you may feel unheard while the other feels criticized. The more one partner pushes for connection or answers, the more the other withdraws—and both of you walk away feeling misunderstood.

Perhaps trust has been damaged, intimacy has changed, or years of unresolved hurt have created distance between you. You may feel more like roommates than partners, or wonder how a relationship that once felt so connected became a source of tension, loneliness, or uncertainty.

You may still love each other and genuinely want the relationship to work. You just don’t know how to get out of the patterns you’ve fallen into.

Couples therapy is not about deciding who is right or assigning blame. It is about understanding what happens between you: the reactions that escalate conflict, the needs that are not being expressed clearly, and the deeper emotions that often sit beneath anger, defensiveness, or withdrawal.

My approach is active, honest, and focused on helping you create meaningful change. I won’t simply watch you repeat the same argument in session. I’ll help you slow the cycle down, recognize each person’s role in it, and communicate in ways that allow both partners to feel heard.

Together, we’ll work to address unresolved issues, rebuild emotional safety, and develop healthier ways of navigating conflict. Depending on what your relationship needs, our work may also include repairing trust after betrayal, strengthening intimacy, reconnecting emotionally, or gaining clarity about the future of the relationship.

The goal is not to create a relationship without disagreement. It is to help you disagree without damaging the connection—and to build a relationship in which both partners feel respected, understood, and able to move forward together.
