From the outside, it might look like you’re doing fine.
You get good grades. You’re responsible. You show up for school, sports, work, friends, and family. People see you as driven, capable, and successful.
But internally, it feels different.
You’re constantly overthinking. Comparing yourself to everyone around you. Worrying about whether you’re doing enough, achieving enough, looking good enough, or making the right decisions.
You may feel pressure to have your entire future figured out while also trying to keep up with school, friendships, family expectations, social media, dating, and everything else life seems to throw at you.
It’s exhausting.
Many of the teens and young women I work with are struggling with anxiety, perfectionism, burnout, self-esteem, body image concerns, relationship stress, eating disorders, or feeling overwhelmed by the pressure to be everything to everyone.
They often tell me things like:
“I can’t shut my brain off.”
“I feel like I’m falling behind everyone else.”
“I know I’m doing well, but I never feel like it’s enough.”
“I care too much about what people think of me.”
“I don’t even know who I am anymore.”
If any of that sounds familiar, you’re not alone.
The truth is, many high-achieving young women are carrying around an incredible amount of pressure while making it look effortless to everyone else.
Therapy provides a space where you don’t have to perform, have the right answer, or pretend everything is okay.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. I want therapy to feel like a conversation, not an interrogation. While I’ll absolutely challenge you when needed, I also believe that real growth happens when you feel understood, supported, and genuinely connected to the person sitting across from you.
Together, we’ll work on understanding what’s driving your anxiety, self-criticism, perfectionism, relationship patterns, or emotional struggles so that you can feel more confident, grounded, and comfortable being yourself.
You don’t have to keep carrying it all alone.
